Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get rid of it. Last updated 3 November 2026.
Who we are
Vuze is a creator marketing platform operated by Wasla Ventures. Brands fund campaigns, creators make content for them, and creators are paid out of that campaign budget. This policy explains what data we hold to make that work, and what we do not.
Information you give us
When you create an account and use Vuze, we store:
- Account details — your name, username, email address, country, gender, profile and cover photos, and (if you add one) your phone number. Gender is asked because some campaigns are open only to female or male creators.
- Sign-in details — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name and email address they share with us. Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email.
- Creator profile details — the niches, content types, and languages you choose, plus any links you add to your profile.
- Campaign activity — the campaigns you apply to, the content you submit to them (including videos you upload), messages and attachments you exchange with brands about that work, and reviews you leave.
- Support and reports — what you write to us through in-app support, and any reports you file about messages, campaigns, or reviews.
- Payment details — the withdrawal method you add so we can pay you, and your national ID number, which our payment provider requires to send a payout. They are encrypted before they are stored, and are only decrypted at the moment a payout is sent to our payment provider.
- Your withdrawal PIN — stored only as a one-way hash we cannot read back. If you turn on Face ID for withdrawals, a copy of the PIN is kept on your phone's secure storage, never on our servers.
Information from your device
When you sign in, the app registers your phone with OneSignal, our notification provider. OneSignal receives a device identifier, basic device information (model, operating system, language and time zone) and, if you allow notifications, a push token, all linked to your Vuze account so we can send you campaign and payment updates. Notifications are only shown if you allow them. OneSignal also records whether a notification was opened and collects basic diagnostics about its own software, such as crash reports.
Vuze does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not use your device's advertising identifier, and does not collect your device's location. You can add your city and country to your profile yourself.
Instagram and TikTok data
Vuze pays creators on performance-based campaigns according to how the content they submitted actually performed. To measure that honestly, we read performance data directly from the platform the content was published on, rather than asking anyone to self-report it.
If you connect your Instagram or TikTok account, you grant Vuze read-only access. We use it for exactly two things:
- To confirm that a post you submitted to a campaign is genuinely yours, by matching it against your own media.
- To read the view and engagement counts (views, likes, comments, shares, saves) on that specific post.
What we never do with your connected accounts
To be explicit about the limits of that access, Vuze does not:
- Post, publish, edit, or delete anything on your behalf.
- Read or send your direct messages.
- Read or moderate comments.
- Access content you have not submitted to a Vuze campaign.
- Access your Instagram or TikTok password. Connection happens through the platform's own login screen, and we never see your credentials.
- Sell your data, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
How connected-account data is stored
The access tokens that let us read your metrics are encrypted before they are written to our database, and are never readable by any app or browser — only our servers can decrypt them, and only to make a metrics request.
Performance figures are stored as a history of snapshots against the specific post they belong to, so a payout can always be explained afterwards: which post, which numbers, and when they were measured.
Who your data is shared with
A brand running a campaign you have joined can see your public creator profile, the content you submitted to their campaign, its performance figures, and what they paid you. Brands cannot see your contact details, your payment details, or anything about campaigns you have run with anyone else.
We also use a small number of service providers to operate Vuze: Supabase for hosting and databases, Cloudflare to store photos, videos and chat attachments, Paymob to process deposits and payouts, OneSignal to send notifications, Resend to send email, Google (Firebase Hosting) and Vercel to serve our websites, and Google and Apple when you choose to sign in with them. They process data on our behalf and under our instructions. Some of them store or process data outside Egypt.
Disconnecting an account
You can disconnect Instagram or TikTok at any time from Settings → Connected accounts in the Vuze app. Disconnecting immediately destroys the stored access tokens, and Vuze stops collecting any new performance data for you.
Performance figures already used to calculate a payout you have received are kept, because they are part of the financial record of that payment.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in any of these ways:
- Creators: in the Vuze app, Profile → Settings → Delete account. It happens immediately.
- Brands: in the brand dashboard, Settings → Account → Delete account. It happens immediately.
- Without the app: use the form at vuze-website.vercel.app/delete-account, or email hello@vuze.co. We complete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
- Instagram: remove Vuze in your Instagram settings and send a data deletion request. It reaches us automatically, and you get a confirmation code and a status page.
- TikTok: remove Vuze in your TikTok settings. We are notified and destroy the access tokens we held.
What deletion removes, and what it keeps
Deleting erases your name, email address, phone number, profile (username, bio, photos, location, interests, social links), your Instagram and TikTok connections and their access tokens, your saved payout details including your national ID number, your withdrawal PIN, and your notifications. For brands, the brand details, logo and community pages are erased and taken down. You are signed out everywhere and cannot sign in again.
Some records have to outlive the account, and they are kept without your name or contact details: payment records (how much was paid, for which campaign, and when), because we are legally required to keep financial records; content a creator delivered to a brand, because it is the brand's paid-for deliverable; messages you already sent to someone else, which are part of their history; and the moderation and audit records needed to keep Vuze safe.
Deletion waits while something is still in progress: a campaign that is still running, money held for a campaign, a withdrawal being processed, content still under review or still earning, or an open dispute. If money is left in your wallet, we ask you to withdraw it first or to confirm that you give it up.
How long we keep things
We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. When you delete it, everything listed above is erased straight away, and the anonymised records described above are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@vuze.co and we will respond.
We handle personal data in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and, where it applies to you, the data protection law of the country you live in.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
