Terms of Service
How campaigns run, how creators get paid, and what everyone agrees to. Last updated 17 October 2026.
About these terms
Vuze is a creator marketing platform operated by Wasla Ventures. Brands fund campaigns, creators make content for those campaigns, and creators are paid out of the campaign budget. These terms are the agreement between you and Vuze whenever you use the platform, as a brand or as a creator.
By creating an account or using Vuze, you agree to these terms. If you are using Vuze on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that company.
Who can use Vuze
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date — particularly the details we use to pay you.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at hello@vuze.co if you think someone else has access to it.
How campaigns work
A brand creates a campaign, sets a budget, and funds it before it goes live. Creators apply, and the brand accepts the ones it wants to work with. Accepted creators produce content, publish it on the platform the campaign targets, and submit the link to Vuze. The brand then reviews what was submitted.
Campaigns come in two shapes, and which one applies is stated on the campaign before you join it:
- Performance pot — the whole budget is a single pot. It is divided between the creators whose submissions were approved, in proportion to how those specific posts actually performed.
- Fixed assignment — each accepted creator is paid an agreed fee for a submission the brand approves.
How creators are paid
A campaign's budget is held in escrow from the moment it is funded. It is not the brand's to spend elsewhere while the campaign is running, and it is released to creators when the brand confirms the payout.
On a performance pot campaign, each creator's share is calculated from the measured performance of the content they submitted — read directly from Instagram or TikTok, not self-reported by anyone. The calculation is shown to the brand before it confirms, and once confirmed it is final and the money moves into creator wallets immediately.
Money in your Vuze wallet is yours. You can withdraw it to a bank account or mobile wallet you add, subject to a minimum withdrawal of EGP 100. Payouts are sent through our payment provider, and how long they take to arrive depends on the method you chose.
Vuze charges brands a platform fee on campaigns. The fee is shown to the brand before a campaign is funded. It is not deducted from a creator's share of a pot.
What brands agree to
If you run campaigns on Vuze, you agree to fund the budget up front, to review submissions in good faith and within a reasonable time, and to judge them against the brief you published rather than against expectations you never wrote down.
You cannot withdraw a campaign's escrowed budget to avoid paying for work that was already delivered and approved.
What creators agree to
If you take part in campaigns on Vuze, you agree that:
- The content you submit is yours, made by you for that campaign, and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- You will follow the brief, and follow the disclosure rules that apply to paid or sponsored content on the platform you post to.
- You will not buy, botch, or otherwise fake views, likes, comments, followers, or any other engagement. Performance figures decide how a pot is split, so inflating them takes money from other creators in the same campaign.
- You will not delete or hide a submitted post while its campaign is still measuring performance.
Who owns the content
You keep ownership of the content you create. By submitting it to a campaign, you grant the brand a licence to use it for the purposes described in that campaign's brief, and you grant Vuze permission to display it inside the platform so the campaign can be run, reviewed, and paid out.
Any use by a brand beyond what its brief described is a separate agreement between you and that brand, not something these terms grant.
Connected Instagram and TikTok accounts
Connecting a social account gives Vuze read-only access, used only to confirm a submitted post is genuinely yours and to read that post's view and engagement counts. Vuze never posts on your behalf, never reads your direct messages, and never sees your password for those platforms.
You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Connected accounts, which immediately destroys the stored access tokens. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
Things you may not do
Whether you are a brand or a creator, you may not use Vuze to:
- Impersonate someone else, or misrepresent who you are or who you work for.
- Post or commission content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
- Manipulate performance metrics by any means, or help someone else do so.
- Take payment or negotiate outside the platform in order to avoid fees, when the work came from a Vuze campaign.
- Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the service.
Objectionable content and abusive users
Vuze has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. That covers anything in the list above, in messages, reviews, profiles, campaign briefs, and submitted content.
You can report a message, a campaign, or a review from inside the app, and block anyone who messages you. We review every report and act on it within 24 hours: content that breaks these terms is removed, and the account that posted it can be suspended or closed.
Disputes
If a brand and a creator disagree about a submission or a payment, either side can raise it with us at hello@vuze.co. We will look at the campaign brief, what was submitted, and the recorded performance data, and we will decide fairly on that basis.
Because campaign money sits in escrow, we can hold a disputed payout while it is being reviewed rather than paying it out and arguing afterwards.
Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from Settings → Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, most obviously for faked engagement or fraudulent payment activity.
If your account is closed, money already earned and owed to you remains yours and can still be withdrawn, unless it is the subject of an unresolved fraud investigation.
What we are responsible for
Vuze provides the platform that connects brands and creators, holds campaign funds in escrow, measures performance, and moves money. We are responsible for doing that accurately and for keeping your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We are not a party to the creative agreement between a brand and a creator, and we do not guarantee that any campaign will reach a particular level of performance, or that any creator will be accepted onto one. We also depend on Instagram, TikTok, and our payment provider, and cannot guarantee those services are always available.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how you are paid or what you are agreeing to, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
